Hey all. This is a song i wrote with a friend and local musician in my area. I have never co-written a song in this way before so this was a new experience for me. Brian came up with the music in the verse and chorus and showed it to me. He said it reminded him of walking around a lake in our...
Sounds nice! Your voice needs to be pulled up a bit louder. Its being covered up by the music in a few places.
I like the melody and your singing is unique!
Im really not saying that my home made quick fix is working anywhere as well as a properly set up room/booth. Im saying that when its what you have laying around and in a pinch it works better than nothing. Im standing here hearing the difference, even if it is just a slight dampening of echos...

Egg cartons arent flat, tell me why they wont disperse sound and youll be saying that they absorb it...

And on the flip side, you can have the best lyrics ever written and make them...
Thats pretty cool man, although it sounds like you recorded it with a webcam mic....:laughings:
I like the lo-fi guitar with the crisper sounding beat. Cool changes and rhythmic variations too.
Get some gear!
Well, I cant listen to that with the kids in the room (you stupid N*^&$r bitch). But the intro is sure cool. Sounds like you need monitors. And maybe you could find a way to communicate what your feeling better.... ;)
Kind of a jumble. The kick sounds skinny. The concept is good. I hear the drum off rhythm too. Tighter would be better with this genre. Especially at the beginning. try adding more guitar layers but pulling them all back and using some to accent transitions. The vox need more.....ooomph.....a...
