Just wondering, if the two pieces you use work well and you say you have not been disappointed, why then do you say,
"Those are the only pieces of Behringer gear I own, though, and I intend to keep it that way" ?
Well, depends on so many factors, from preamps to voices to rooms, from recording path to recording gear to mic postions and on and on. I still love mine and still find it to be the best $200 mic out there. As far as a search, it might reject C-1, but it won't reject "studio projects" C-1.
Again, Behringer has NEVER been convicted of stealing anything from anyone, period. Understanding how free market works helps. That's why a million and one companies make guitars that look and sound just like a tele, an SG, a strat, a P-bass, an EVH, a Gibson Jumbo and on and on and on, but no...
There must be at least a hundred threads on the C-I. Do a search and you'll get all the info you need. To cut to the chase most people find the C-1 to be a great value, the B-1 even a better value. I own both and love them both.
Well, I once did 20 minutes worth of research and found at least a dozen honest to goodness NAME pros that use all kinds of Behringer gear, live and on record. Of course even though the proof was right infront of their eyes, via links and quotes from books that could easily be verified, for...
You can use any mic on any source. People have used the 57 for vocals live and on record for years. It might not work on your voice, it may be great on mine. The 58 is the same mic as the 57 but for the capsule, many people don't know this. The 58 is known as a vocal mic for the most part but...
So do you suggest not slamming the tape all the time? Are certain instruments, like drums for instance, more suited to higher recording levels and others, like acoustic guitar, better off recorded leaving more room?
Recording old school you'll find you really do have to be able to pull things off that you wouldn't have to using today's digital editing functions. I'm all for playing the part live, I have no choice and wouldn't have it any other way. It forces you to work on your musicianship and that's a...
Why? I've always read record as hot as you can get away with. I'm still an analog guy myself but I always get better results really hitting the tape hard, especially with drums and distorted guitars.
I own a Zoom RFX-1000 and RFX-2000, both decent but nothing to write home about. I also own a V-verb and a Sony dps-V77 and V55. I'll simply say this. The Behringer is FAR FAR better than the Zoom units imo, from routing to editing the preset to creating your own patches to the quality of...
No bone. BTW, why doesn't bone rhyme with done? That's what my seven year old nephew asked me! All I'm saying is ebay is all about feedback, you can't screw sellers for long if that's your aim and it's highly improbable that a seller with over 1500 positive feedbacks is out to screw people, it's...
Your attempt at making the other seller out to be a crook is unfounded and unfair. You do not, I repeat you DO NOT get over 1,500 positive feedbacks from happy buyers on ebay if you are a crook or scammer, you're lucky if you make it to ten before you get exposed. You call the guy greedy...
Heck, I'm lucky if I could find half of my manuals whether they came with something I bought fifteen years ago or last week! Most people interested in something like this are going to ask questions if details aren't listed in the auction, if they don't that's on them. I just feel with well over...
Using my Tascam TRS 8 I'll sometimes record the basic rhythm tracks, something like two - three tracks for drums, one for bass, two for guitars etc. I'll lay down a scratch vocal then add processing/mix and record (minus the vocal) straight to a CD burner then record the stereo mix back into two...
While the price is beyond high, Z makes a good point. I bet it will produce better recordings than any digital $1,500 recorder. It's worth whatever one person is willing to pay for it. Maybe the seller is just not in touch and has no idea what they sell for? His feed back is good. I don't see...
