    Tascam Midiizer MTS-1000 cables

Thanks a lot, I already have a sale so I guess I'll just give him both cables as long as they are needed. Like I said, I was only using it for the remote function. Thanks again. Edan

    Tascam Midiizer MTS-1000 cables

Yes, same 15 pin connectors. I guess they are the same thing? Is it worth it to put one on ebay or not? Are people looking for these? Thanks Edan

    Tascam Midiizer MTS-1000 cables

Hi, Question about these cables. Selling my Tascam MTS-1000. I only used it as a remote because I could not locate an RC-408 at the time so I don't know much about it. Two cables came with it, one is skinny and looks to be the stock cable as I've seen the same one on ebay along with some...

Van Halen "I'll wait" drum toms

Not a joke at all, someone bought them. The bigger roto toms are much harder to find. I think $399 for all of them was a fair price, not a bargin, but fair.

Tascam MSR-16 1/2" Reel to Reel

Beck knows his stuff for sure from everything I've ever read from him. However, all I can say is ..for whatever reason, I've NEVER come across sticky-shed and I have all kinds of 7" and 10" tape from the 80's and 90's new and used stored all over the place that I still use. I know he is trying...

RC-408 Anyone got one for sale?

Hello, it's been awhile... I'm currently in the market for the RC-408 remote control for my Tascam TSR. I'm currently using the MTS-1000 Midiizer purely for the remote function but I received and offer to buy it for $700.00 which I cannot pass up (I bought it for $125.00 two years ago). I've...

Behringer and the hits keep coming...

You wouldn't know the difference if you heard someone play through a $2,000 Marshall, a $100 Epiphone tube amp, a modeling amp or the Behringer. Get over it. All you people who think you have golden ears crack me up.

    Shoot, here we go again...

Well, supercreep never tried a Sony V-77 because for around $500 you can pick one up on ebay and it is NOT and never was a budget processor by any means. Even though it's old it kicks many current reverbs behind. I'd take it over any of the models you were considering.

    Tascam 388 not playing

Hello, I stored my 388 for the past year (boxed in a dry area) and took it back out to put it through it's paces yesterday and it powers up but when I engage any of the buttons/functions the tape just moves a 1/4 inch and just stops. I put a new belt on last year and it's still on. Any ideas...

    Storage and Analog gear

Hi everyone, it's been a while. We sold our house and our new home won't be finished until middle of summer. We will be staying with relatives until then and will have most of our stuff in storage. Problem is I cannot find any climate controlled storage units close by and was wondering if I'm...

    16 track

I have one TSR and the midiizer, though I bought it for the remote function alone as I could not locate an RC-408 after searching for months. I wouldn't bother buying another TSR for more tracks either, nor would I buy a 16 track 1/2 inch. I simply record out to CD and bounce back into two...

Got my Tascam 48/pinch roller advice

They are not the same pinch rollers. I own the TSR as well and they are very different. The 48 pinch roller is deeper in depth and the center mounting hole is smaller. I took pics of it but can't figure out how to upload them in a post.

Anyone have direct experience with openreel.net (Kawashima Audio Service) ?

I checked out the site as I'm looking for a pinch roller for my Tascam 48. Though the site lists this pinch roller http://www.openreel.net/pr42.jpg as the one for the TEAC 33-8, TASCAM 38, 42B, Late Model 44, 48OB, TSR-8, MSR-16, it is not so as I own the TSR-8 as well and the two pinch rollers...

Got my Tascam 48/pinch roller advice

Hey guys, Picked up my Tascam 48 yesterday. The one I got on ebay "as is" for $150.00. It powers up and all but one of the meter lights work. So far so good but the pinch roller is all gooey so I can't test her out yet. Although I see a few pinch rollers for sale on ebay stating they will fit...
