Much better answer than mine... See... I don't know much, I just use a ton of distortion. I don't particularly like overdrive, to be honest.

Couldn't tell you... To me, they are all just different levels of distortion. Overdrive, Distortion, Fuzz... in terms of least to most. But I don't know anything.

I have an RP-300. Whci his very similar to the RP-200A. The only difference (other than price) between the RP-200A and RP-200... Is the Artist presets. Overall I liked the RP... But the distortion is lacking...

I always try to buy from my local family owned stores... I have 2 within 5 minutes of my house... They ALWAYS give me deals, Regardless of whether or not I found another price. I've always paid less than I would at GC or MF... If I can't get it from the local shop, then yes, I got to GC first...

Sorry to tag along on this but since we are talking about Polarity... Why the hell does my guitar amp have a polarity button And what the hell does it do? I don't "hear" any difference, but that's not to say there isn't one. If it helps at all to know... It's an early seventies Kustom 150...

I have a Soundblaster, in conjuntion with my Delta 44. Have never had a single problem... I use the SB for all sound, except for recording/mixing.

Well... I don't play keyboard or piano... That's why I don't care about anything other than touch-sensitivity and MIDI I/O. I just wanted something to tinker around with, mainly for drum input. I have 3 keyboards, all very old, with crappy sounds, and no MIDI. I am a guitar player, not much...

I usually just watch the waveform when I have to do this. When you see the waveform start... Start. Or, if it's in the middle of a waveform... You can usually see when a new voice/instrument comes in...

I feel you man... Works a drag huh? I'm actually in the same boat looking for a keyboard/midi controller... The M-Audio Radium line is looking good to me.
