I really enjoyed techtv until it was taken over by G4. I mean I like video games but all the shows that were on games were reviewing the same games over and over. It was fine at first but after a while I couldn’t tell one show from the next. I got sick of it and I just didn’t want that channel...
By the way why isn’t there a tv show that specializes in this kind of stuff. Like how to make bass traps and how to build a real studio with high budget and low budget but with real research. Or the latest mics and daws and stuff like that. Stuff you would only read about. In eq mag or recording...
you can but it will not run at it's fullest potential. Even so I would say go for dual core and 64 bit processor and hold off on the 64 bit operating system. 64 bit processors still work with 32 bit operating systems. Cubase for example has dual processing built in to it. its too soon for 64...
simple AMD 3300+ = same performance as an Intel 3.3ghz. Intel faster clock. AMD more efficient and can process equivalent to higher clock speeds so this translates to running cooler. What you really need to look at is the price performance ratio.
did you get the whole thing like the manual and the software bundle? If so then I'm sure there is a quick start section that can explain in detail on how to get it running. you got a good barging for that. I would resell it on Ebay. provided it has everything it came with and the bundled...
Experiment. Move your guitar closer to your monitors, then closer to your PC . move it around till you find when it gets the loudest. If it does not get louder when you move it closer to your PC then its not your PC. Also I have seen CRT monitors waving when up against a wall. Which indicates...
Not only that but you can monitor through Cubase with very little latency. I use amplitube lite and monitor in real time with no noticeable latency. But then again I have a beefy PC and a $500 audio interface. But latency is not only the monitoring part. Like when you reduce the slider in the...
I used packaging tape. I got a pencil and used the eraser end and put the tape on and pressed it with the pencil. Then just pulled it out. The packaging tape was sticky enough and it didn’t leave a residue. My next thing if that didn’t work would be to pry it out with a needle but I don’t know...
Heat will also plays a role. the more heat the more A/C usage. with all my stuff on the room can get pretty warm to the point where Im sweating. heck even in the winter it gets warm and I have the vent shut.
Now that’s an idea. a panel that can be electronically manipulated to absorb, diffuse or reflect, specific frequencies. Chemicals can flow thru chambers that reflect frequencies and with the turn of a knob affect how these frequencies either reflect, diffuse or absorb what ever rang or specific...
In cubase you can select another sound for the click and you can change tempo any time in the arrangement. if you go over your song you can write down when these changes happen and you can set them even before you even start recording. so the tempo change will occer automatically.
