    No, bridge pins just hold the ball ends in place. Now if you would be talking about the saddle it would be another issue. The strings rests directly on the saddle, that would make a difference in tone.

    I've never noticed man.... But if you have one close you clould check. I doubt it though,.. That stuff has to be vvvery thin. Doesn't hurt to check though...

    Also, there is no need to clean the board this way every time you change strings. There is a perfect combination of cleanliness and the natual oils from your finger that will give your fretboard the perfect feel.

    You can use carpenters wood glue, but that adhesive sheet looks like it will do it nice and clean. Besides it's from 3m so you know it's good. If you do end up using the wood glue make sure you take ALL the old stuff out.
