Does anyone have, or know of any mp3's that i might be able to download the mixdown then also the mastered version? I'd really be interested in seeing what the mixdowns sound like in comparison to the mastered versions.

How can i bring up the guitar without it clipping like that? I'm recording my mesa triple rect. through the bottom right speaker mic'd 3 inches dead on the cone through a DBX 386 pre-amp with a shure sm57... I recently found out that getting the guitar sound i want is extremely diffacult...

Well there are 7 spots in the song where i put huge bass triggers so they would bump my g/f's car system (heh) Also i recorded this all on a metronome however the drums probably did speed up in that little spot, but then got back on track... What would you recommend to fix the clipping...

Ok people, I can't mix this song anymore. I recorded all the guitars/bass/drums AND vocals my self this time. Its all me (except my singer does backups). So it's gotten to the point where i can't mix it cause i've heard it way way way to many times and i could really use your help...

I'm going to be completing the mix tomorrow hopefully... I tried the gate stuff and it just sounds pretty bad cause the hi-hat bled through the mic to much.

Hey, I wanted to get some mixing opinions on this clip before i went on and finished the drums. Personally i think the snare needs something more... I also think the kick might need to be turned down... But if you could give me some eq and level suggestions on these drums before i go on that...

Man, this song just shows how unprofessional my recordings are. Sounds really really nice to me, however i can't really give you a technical opinion... Only a "Average Listener" opinion. To me it might seem like the vocals are a little high compared to some of the guitar, except for the chorus.
