    Most effects loops run at line level, while most effect pedals run at instrument level, the fx loop is probably running the pedals too hot.

    If I had to define it I'd say its the feature of the song that 'grabs' you, hence the name. I also don't think there's a formula for generating hooks although 'familiarity' is often used as a safe (but boring) substitute.

    That's because when you tighten down the locknuts they can rotate slightly pulling some strings slightly sharper and others flatter.

    Flip the fan around so that it expells the hot air upwards (and keeps out some of the dust). In your bios you can look at the system temp monitoring and see which arrangement keeps the system cooler.

    You could also try rerouting the signal cables. They might be picking up an induced hum from nearby AC or something.

    I think it's called circular picking, where you whole hand stays still and only the thumb and index finger move by bending at the joints as if you were writing.
