"How many guitars do you NEED?"

Yep, the stand is missing....I know That Samick plays real well. I feed it through the Marshall and get that Ted Nugent, wild man, feedback thing going. I also use it with the accoustic amp and has a very mellow sound to it. It's a cool axe overall.

"How many guitars do you NEED?"

I am a guitar junky. I passed alchaholic a long time ago. http://home.comcast.net/~bonrox/guitars/gut_inv.htm The sad part is that my site doesn't have all of them on. I have a hard time keeping the site current with my shopping habit.

    Who Destroyed Country?

It isn't wireless when you can see the jack has nothing plugged into it. Besides the fact that he wasn't even strumming in time. Makes me wonder if he was lip syncing too.

    Who Destroyed Country?

So, a girl forced me into going to a Kenny Chesny concert with her. A rodey hands him a black Les Paul and he start strumming with the song. Turns out it wasn't even plugged in. So I turned to this girl and said, the guitar isn't plugged in. She said "Yea, but dosn't he look cool with it".

    Who Destroyed Metal?

Mariha Carey - 27,000,000 in first month Coldplay - 12,000,000 first month Tobie Keith - 19,000,000 first 10 days Back in the 80's those numbers would have been reversed when metal was the mainstream of the music industries. Is metal dead, no, but it is taking a far less share of the market place.

    Who Destroyed Metal?

LMAO ---- Yes, exactly. Guys, if you can't make money at it, you can't do it full time. But that is not the topic here. It is who killed metal. And the answer is the fans, actually, the lack of them. I saw Poisin back in the 80's. There were at least 40,000 people at the show. I saw them 2...

    Who Destroyed Metal?

I didn't say that it doesn't have a fan base. It does have a shrinking fan base. Hell, disco even still has a fan base, as does the vocal groups (doo-wap) of the 50's, but how many groups are bringing out new doo-wap stuff. And radio play is everything. Why? - because it allows millions of...

    Who Destroyed Metal?

And if it wasn't on the radio and you didn't buy their music, you would not have grown up listening to that shit. That is the point of why it's DEAD. No airplay, no fans, certain death!!

    Who Destroyed Metal?

No I am not saying that it is not worth while. I am saying that if you don't sell the music, you can't afford to make more. If you can't afford to make more, it will die. It may be fun to play and worthwhile, but it will be dead nevertheless.

    Who Destroyed Metal?

Yes, it is tired, but that's because it's true. Just look at where groups make their money. It's not the heavey stuuf, it's the lighter side that sells to the public. Not their best stufff. Led Zepplin - Stairway to heaven, Kiss - Beth, Joe Satriani - I Believe, Red Hot Chilie Peppers - Under...

    Who Destroyed Metal?

Another name for metal is 'Head Banger Music'. Well, if you bang your head against a wall for a while, you figure out that it's kind of stupid to do. The new name for metal is 'Death Rock'. I will leave that one alone, it speaks for itself. BB King was able to play one or two notes and put...

    Gibson Firebird?

I have a Firebird and I like the way it plays and sounds. The neck is similar to an SG (wide fretboard and thin neck stock). The sound is a bit thin, but I still like it running through my Marshall. The best thing about it is I really like the way it hangs. It is one of the most comfortable...
