Snappier sanre please.
May be a little less mud from the bass.
I like the bright rhythm git.
You have snaffled riffs & motifs from all over the place.
Not bad - quite good actually.
I probably prefer the RnR Animal version or the version on Live 69 but you've pretty much nailed this.
You're paying us all back for the Lou Reed references but I'm always happy to hear this song done decently. When the
BLOOD begins - seems to pitch a little roughly.
I'd pull the vox back a...
Happy Splawn sounded good at the 35 sec mark - that part of the riff really works with that amount of OTness.
I think I like the SAD OCD - nasally but also 1/2 cocked Wah is.
Nice riffy thinig Liv, I can't work with delay - it confuses me so I forget about it.
Clash codreggae wasn't bad but it was, well, white.
Not bad #3 JDOD, though the guitars seem to create, in the non reggae sections, a big, solid block of sound,
The performance is cool & I like the vox as they are thanks.
Thanks David & Lt Bob,
That makes a third problem - I don't have a "smart" phone.
I have a different/spare tuner but am conscious that they all vary somewhat and wanted to stay with the just one for the project. I suppose I can retrack the bass if they're out...
Minerman,
Thanks for the thoughts and ideas mate. I'm happy to hear what you have to say & to give your ideas a whirl.
Tadpui.
thanks for the detail.
There're two likely problems... my tuner is playing up - it won't settle and jumps around no matter which guitar I'm using and I'm having some...
Greg, Thanks.
It's still just an platform to experiment on - the thought about the minor verse was simply that it was easier to play in a row.
The tone - yeah, I was quite unhappy with it - the sound was OK in tracking headphones but was thin rubbish in the monitors.
I'll pull the newer chord...
The quest for tone that requires new learning - of chords for me anyway!
I've updated, after some time practicing, my latest song.
I used my Epiphone Sheraton II this time for all tracks - as the humbuckers seem to get a better response from the little amp I'm using.
There're L & R track of...
Vocals are a little pitchy.
The fuzzed guitar needs to be dropped a little sooner.
the cacophony of the solo is OK but I actually liked the further back one.
Lyrically a bit odd.
Reminds me of Lou Reed Circa Sally Can't Dance - ennui abounds.
