I have one of their head phone amps. A touch noisy, but has served me well. I wrote a review of their Ultratone K1800FX keyboard amp for www.FrugalGuitarist.com and must admit it's a nice piece of gear. Been thinking about adding an ADA8000 to extend my EMU 1616M's inputs as well...

I've got the Rogue from Musician's Friend. I'm a guitarist, not a mandolin player, so I don't really know the difference between a good and bad one. That being said, it works fine for my limited usage.

Sheets of Sound is very good. A little more towards the Jazz side of things but really covers an incredible amount of guitar technical knowledge.

I will agree to the general flimsy build and less than great sound of the previous Digi generation. However, they've addressed many of the build quality issues (still some issues with jacks breaking though) and their current generatin of modeling is very good. Do they sound better than Lline 6...

Agreed that the fx are less than stellar, Digitech owns that market in my opinion. However, I disagree that you can't get good clean sounds. Below is a clip using a Pocket POD. You should be able to adjust each individual patch's volume as well as the individual amp models volume to balance out...
