    Laid Back (instrumental)

Now you just need to grab a bass and add that to the mix. You must be doing something right if you are getting a good review from MC Gitrz!! Check out his stuff. You mix it up good with the different "movements", if you will. I have to agree with MC here. Make that a double pat:D

    Re-work of a 1995 original tune

Direct Link: http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/album.php?aid=3178&alid=735 What a great opening for the album! Your vocal really fits nicely in the mix. I don't think I agree with you on the mando performance..........I rather like it! Just cause it's a first take (if thats the case) doesn't...

    Back in ACTION

Hey WISC..... I really like the different parts to this song. It's a good idea IMO in this genre to mix it up with dynamics. Loud and quiet parts........ Normally this stuff doesn't do it for me, but there was something extra here that kept me hooked all the way through. Good Work. I thought...

    Hopeful Collaboration

Hey man............ This is a superb song. Shades of "straight from the heart" I think thats what it's called anyway. You know, Rush song? I really like the Bass sound you got going here. I guess it's got to do with analog recording but everything has a very warm and inviting quality to it...

    A song

Riku is that you on guitar? The guitars are played very well! The vocals are well sung, could maybe use something on the production end to enhance them a little. The backgroung electric guitar is too far back IMO. I like your drum sound. Overall, VERY good production:D

    Bonanza

hi I like the feel of this song. interesting switch to an eastern style in the middle:) I'm not very technical regarding mixes but I can say that you put a very tasteful guitar part in at the end:cool: You need more replies;) Good Work:)

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh! Don't let Sharon Osborne know this one exists! :)

sonus!!!!! Thats real clever.................I had to smile when I heard this one. I was never a big fan of late 80's metal but I can see the BIG HAIR flying around during this song:D :D :D

    Please Be With Me

Hey I think you captured a good Bass sound. Too bad the player was so ridiculously busy with it:D Like the vocals maybe a touch more level on the backups. Drums are somehow too far removed if that makes any sense, sounds like they are next door:)

part 2 to lost in time

I don't see a link to your site. And which song in particular would you like critiqued?

CCCP mixing style ~ <-- (also, that is a tilde)

Khomp!! From a songwriting standpoint this is, for me the most understandable of your songs to date. The structure and the lyrics were all laid out very straight forward. The guitar sounded good to me. The vocals sounded like you meant what you were singing about. Thats always VERY important...

    Zeppelin cover

Hey BH Yes, the performance was super. I thought the recording had a crispness to it. I mostly agree with joro, the drums do sound pretty good. Now work on bass definition:D Good Luck with that one BTW;)

    CCM Love Song

Happy 25th daf and family! I thought this sounded kind of classy. I think the recording probably needs refinement on a few different levels but the passion is REALLY there in this one:D I heartily approve:) Dan

    Back to the Beach

Hey Man! You guys have set a standard production level that you don't ever fall below. This is another style well emulated. I think you need some high singing backgrounds as well to make this genre fly. It was COOL:cool: seeing you're studio setup in the other thread:D Dan

Piltdown Man here... Question: Really Home Recording?

Sluice is Right http://www.artistcollaboration.com/~hevyd47ca/ There's where I work............... In the corner of the living room with a computer guitar amp and an audigy soundcard. Shure SM58 for a mic and still using the pre-amp in the soundcard for the mic:D No WONDER the vocals are...

    **I NEED your EARS**

Thanks everyone 2 heads are better that one so 30 ears have got to be better than 2. I know what to do now about some of the cymbal sounds, thanks Chris for the suggestion. I always send everything to nowhere as 128 mp3's, maybe I could bump that up a little:) Dan
