I am posting in the beginner, because that what I am.
I have got Cubse Artist 6.5 last year. I did not get far in the manual p.95 only. I wonder if for a home studio Artist is ok or if I should get Cubase full version and Halion?
I think the manual have a couple of mistakes, like stuff that...
You don't need a dondle usb fo rsure.
But you could upgrade to artist 7 for 99$ right now, and you then need a dundle. And 300$ for the full version. Which I wish I got first when I upgrade from Cubase 4 ai.
But artist is waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than what you have right now.

To make it more clean here is what I want to do.
Just drag a wav and play it on the keyboard.
DropZone is a sampler included in Cakewalk Sonar - YouTube
I actually have cakewalk Square 1, one stand alone. It actually come with Sonar x1/x2.
What I want to use is Drop Box. GAO have similar stuff, but require a lot of click and drag unfortunately, DB is doing what I want in one drag.
I am actually looking for a sampler that will workin Cubase...
It's a crazy problem. It's not on elicensor, and won't be because it's expired.
And it dose not show where you can uninstall programs.
I tried to uninstall/reinstall Halion sonic SE, but no luck
Maybe in Cubase there is a place to tell what vst I can use and disable it there?
Ok let's see what we are talking about
Once your in the boat with Cubase it was a 150$/year, now will be 250$
That is not inviting. I am thinking to upgrade now and wait to activate it to version 8 with the grace period.
Cubase 6.5: USD 249.99* was -> 150 = Extra 100$
Cubase 6: USD 299.99*...
Actually on p.77 We read
To correct the timing of a take, select the desired take, hold down [Ctrl]/[Command]-[Alt]/[Option] (the tool modifier for Slip Event) and drag with the mouse.
The mouse pointer changes its shape to indicate that you can change the timing.
I can't find the real SLIDE EVENT
