I made some formica sides, glued a hand rest (plastic bowl) on the cover, painted, and put it all together. Here's the front.

Screwed some screws.

Drilled and countersunk some holes.

Frets installed, but need some position markers.

After some paint and slots cut, the frets were installed.

I needed some fret thingies - not really for frets, as you don't fret this type of guitar - more as position markers. These would do the trick.
