This question simply cannot be answered... sorry.
It s like asking "can someone please give me settings for color correcting my picture". If we haven t seen the picture... we can t help you...
This is an excellent question.
I an going to give an excellent answer :-)
2 very important things will have an impact on the perception of depth: transients, and ambiance.
Try to patch a limiter on your drum mix buss. Just enough so that it will kill the transients (most likely kick and snare)...

in 4 dimensions.
depth, height, left/right, and ... dynamic.
I "see" the music. It helps a lot when it comes to positioning instruments.
Copy/paste DOES NOT work.
This is the same signal. it will phase. It will shift stereo image. And it will still sound like one performance.
Record twice.
There are multiple uses for compression.
Color, peak controls, leveling, punchiness, pumping...
It s a very versatile tool.
In this video you get different example that will help you understand better what you can do with it.
Compression Overview - PUREMIX
I often use limiters on my drum buss.
LIke actuel limiters with an infinite ratio.
They control the transients. I said "control". you don t actually see ANY gain reduction. But you definitely hear it.
It sounds more controled that way. and punchier.

And the R-Bass. Because no other plugins does the same thing. I use it on all my kicks and drums.
This question comes out very often
And it s a bit like asking. "Hey guys, I just took a picture. Give me a preset to color correct it"...
Impossible right? because you haven't seen the picture.
Your mic took a picture of a vocal performance. It certainly needs some fixing but no presets in the...

Balance is key.
2 nd one in front of the kick to get Wooomph.

Obviously this is one simple method and there are other methods out there, but this one is pretty straight forward and seems to work just fine:

Yes. Waves plugins are good. The have way too many. And way too many of them are branded by big names. but IMHO they are in general really good. You can do anything you want with them.
Cubase 6 HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED!
I used to use it a lot. It LOAD of plugins on it. It would not help me.
Then I switched to pro tools. I ve been trying to get my mixes right with only PT stock plugins ever since. Not having to go through an insanely long list of plugins is actually healthy and...
