Most enjoyable HRDC post for a while. I had a great time reading about the recording process and listening to all the mixes. A few great mixes among them. Solid proof that it's not what you've got but how you use it.

I'd be looking at something like superior 2.0 or BFD or something the same and going ALL MIDI. The pad thump from the overheads will give you nightmares

if you upgrade from 4 to 5 you will loss your licence for 4. The upgrade version updates the dongle and makes it useless to work with 4. Just a heads up if you have projects needing finished in 4 before you make the upgrade.
