I got lucky about 12 years ago when my band was on mp3.com when they were doing DAM (digital audio music) CD's for artists on their site. We had 22 tracks up and in order for them to sell the CD's for us they copywrited the entire 22 songs as well as the Album (containing the 22 songs) for free...

Thanks for all the comments guys, gave me some food for thought. We're gonna leave it as is till we get the rest of the album finished then see if it needs any tweaking.

Had a version of this up a while ago but decided to rerecord it after pulling most of my hair out. I think I've got everything sitting where I want it. There's NOTHING on the 2 bus as yet, it's part of a 10 track album, this being the first to make it to the "finnished" stage. I'm quite pleased...

Thanks Zero, The kick has been the biggest of my problems. We're using a cheap Superlux PRA218A kick mic (and another on floor tom) It's not the best, just trying to work with the tools I have. The "2, 3, 4" is bleed into the drum overheads and room mic from our drummer, I tried cutting it...

Been working on a 12 track album for my own band for the past couple of months...a day here and there. Got guitars n vocals on this one tonight, it's the first of the 12 to be completed. Tired ears etc, etc will warent a new mix tomorrow. Just want to know if there's anything BAD sticking out...

I got delivered 2 sets of them drum mics by accident. The tom mics sound great on guitar cabs and having the two kick mics I now use one on floor tom with great results, tom mics are pretty good for backing vocals too. Bit of a bonus.

still using nowhereradio.com which I liked for the direct linking but the space is limited and it's usualy 1 song up, 1 song down. Need to look into dropbox

I suggest before you start using a 14 yearold DAW you have a look at some of the newer FREE ones out there. You could start HERE and try Audacity

Was gonna say, I'm new to micing drums too after years of reading about it and I too am limited for space. I've been using tom clips for about 3 weeks now and a gate was the first thing I reached for. Cured my problem too. Glad you got it sorted.
