I was at a trade show last weekend and the Presonus Fireport is AWESOME. I have a Delta 1010 and am seriously contemplating making the switch to Presonus gear. Check out Sweetwater. They've got some samples.

I'd suggest M Audio's Delta 66. IMO, a damn fine soundcard for just under $200.

Although the Shure SM57 is considered the 'standard' for mic'ing and recording guitar amps, I'm just not happy with its performance. So I'm wondering, what are your guys' opinions on alternatives to the old faithful SM57...??
