These things are often the most overlooked items.
Noise suppression is very important, as you will quickly discover once you get out your condensors ...
Good idea, however, be aware that 10K RPM drives can be VERY loud. You can buy 5 1/4 inch insulated slot mounts that will suppress their...
Les Paul Signature (the funky gold semi acoustic with the lo-z pickups)
Gibson Super 400CES
Mid 70's Strat (with the big a$$ headstock).
Gibson J200
That's all.
Actually there was a HUUUGe thread of people pics, probably a year or 1.5 ago.
If I find it I'll post a link.
Cute little baby BTW !

In public and high schools in the 70's there was a lot of educational stuff you could order for these things. Teachers would get them in for a week at a time.
Think of it as the hardware version of Powerpoint. ;)
(or any other presentation/slide show software)
I seem to recall falling asleep...
Godin LGX-SA - CAD$1400
Ibanez GB-10 (George Benson) - YEN90,000 (sold for CAD1400 to buy the Godin ... :D )
Had some deals in the past - my '71 D-35, I got for CAD650 in 1981.
'76 Tele for CAD425 (in 1978).
New EDA900 Bass very recently for KRW530,000 (about US440).
And they are all...
It had to deal with "public mix"
Have a look here:

And sort through some stuff in the MP3 clinic.
Good luck !

Cubasis is not the most intuitive, but if you work through its learning curve, it's a good piece of software.
Unfortunately, as it is bundled, the pdf manual sucks, and there is no hard copy. You may find yourself getting into problems that you can't easily resolve.
Lots of people around...
I had a fluorescent pink BC Rich Bich for a few years.
Would've looked cool with pink strings.
And yes, I was (am) secure in my masculinity ...
Threw a note in the cave about this - did buy it, started to test it, all the inputs work great. But the damn wife decided to have a baby, so the rest of the test is on hold ...
By the by - I bought it for approx 155 USD as of yesterday's exchange rate....
Thanks, boingoman - good idea !
I have an SPX90 I can use for that (I just hope he's got 110V power - maybe I'll have to take a xfmr too ...)
I'll just make sure the input is down when checking the main outs. Tks.
Hope I get this thing, I've just realized it's cheaper than I thought ...
Wondering the best way to test a mixer if all the seller has available is the mixer itself.
If I bring a set of headphones, a mic, and possibly a line level device (portable cd player), at least I could check all the inputs, correct ?
Any other thoughts ? Any quick way to check...
Don't think Mr. Spliff is going to reply to this thread anytime soon. The frigging thing is over 5 years old !!!!
Practically back from the inception of the damn board ...
No opinions on the model, but I have owned a GB100 as well as currently owning a EDA900 bass, and I have been very happy with the quality and playability of both.
Also to mention that I saw Offspring last night, and through Noodles hands, the guitar sounded great ! :D
Well, the 13 pin jack is not MIDI - it is a proprietary format used by Roland (and as far as I know a couple others - Axxon ?).
This will connect to a Roland GR series synth (or midi controller), and will allow you to send MIDI from there if you so desire.
It's really up to you for what you use...
I used a GK-2A for years with a GR-50 until I got a Godin LGX-SA.
Best thing I ever did.
Tracking is much less of a problem - I have the ability ( or lack thereof  ) to play less clean than I had to with the GK-2A.
Mike
I'm still using a GR-50 form 1991 or thereabouts, and I see no need to upgrade. I don't think there's going to be an appreciable difference between the 30 and 33.
What are you using - a GK-2A ? There are differences in input devices. My Godin is waaaay better than the GK-2A ever was.
But I'd...
In the guitar cord, both wires are required for signal flow. I'm not sure what you mean by "...but the guitar cord has 2 wires, this has 1."
One wire is connected to the tip of the connector (or plug), and may be known as the "hot", while the other is connected to the ring (or the...
