Have you seen Weezer's DVD, "Video Capture Device." They have a segment on the recording of the Pinkerton album. I should watch it again. Also, Pat just loves the drums on Pinkerton and hates all the other albums.

Could anyone tell me what they do to really make the kick drum cut through the mix and still sound deep. I can't seem to accomplish this feat.

I've got a Sabian AA Fast China, it's 17", or 18". It's got a nice fast decay so that it explodes and then cools down quick. It also sounds cool for like quarter note ride paterns, or off beat rides.

Nice Song! I gave it a bunch of listens. Very catchy, even though I really couldn't even pick out the chorus. It all just seems to flow together, i like it. I thought the mix was very good, seems nice and even.
