i bought an LL16 on monday. after playing a number of mid end acoustics in the same price range the LL16 was the best of the bunch. i restrung it with a set of phosphor bronze 11s as soon as i got home. it's great. it has a bell like sound just like a piano.

why would anyone want to do this?! the firepod already has 8 decent preamp with phantom power.

i'm in germany. but trust me, the packaging is made for oversea trips. they put the original cardboard package of the tele, which came in a gigbag, in an additional bigger box with lots of foam protectors.

those are all great mics. i'd use the ntk as a mono overhead the sm57 on snare and the sm58 on bass drum with some heavy eqing. pl80 could be used as a hihat mic if placed correctly.

i can't imagine that a high quality A/D converter and a decent pre-amp fit in such a small mic. also, where is the gain control on this thing? software?
