So would you recommend "only" adding reverb to a Lead solo or "whatever the main melodic instrument is" in the song? Or apply reverb to all tracks? Or just the whole mixdown at the end? Reverb can make a mush I'm discovering. Too much of a good thing. :D BTW - just had a chance to play my new...

Trying out Adobe Audition Welp - I'm taking the original tracks and working on them in Adobe Audition... so far the sound quality is MUCH better - not to mention the whole interface is better too. I'll try to post a better mix when I get the hang of the app. Thanks for the great tips. ~A~

VOX sounds and plays great! I own a VOX AD50VT (Valvetronix series) and the thing sounds incredible. Much better than any other modeler I've owned (and I've had lots, including Line6 Flextone 3+ and Digitech GNX4). It might not be the panacea to all folks, but man, for the price it just cannot...

Actually the acoustic is an identical cut/paste of the rhythm guitar panned hard L/R. I applied a slightly different reverb and flange to one side (I think - it was getting late). I have also had to dramatically drop the level on the bass track (which I'm using my Ovation Acoustic for with bass...
