errr i record it with a pc, sb live soundcard and a stage line mixer, dunno if it sux but it works for drums though ...

i've got the sm57 and i've been messing around to get a punk rock guitar sound. I've got a superstrat send trough a marshall vs80, which sounds awsome to my opinion. But recording it fucks it up. Any suggestions were i should place the mic and how i should eq it (to make it sound "right" :))

does anyone know were i can get a crack for magix music studio 7 ? i haven't got a budget, so i wont be able to afford a legal version and i'm not sure if it's what i'm looking for. But i've been messin' around with a demo version which i sorta liked ... I know there's tons of other, beter...
