In reguards to saying "you need a real strobe not the virtual strobe" the peterson virtual strobes have the same accuracy as the motor driven strobes, 0.1 cents. I doubt thats theres anyone that can hear a 0.1 cent discrepency.
Peterson is THE name in tuners, they are 30 times more accurate, no changing of modes, very easy to see in the dark(back lit LCD screen) have true bypass when off. If you want one in a stomp form, they have the strobo stomp, if you want a hand held or one to set on something they have the VF...
I seriously doubt, that with any descent UHF wireless unit, that blindfolded you would be able to tell any difference.
I know you're going to say that you can, but I doubt it.
And these are some of the same people that will put a Boss Metal Zone pedal on their amp. Maybe not you, but their out...
The price drop is only on the cheaper low end models.
The faded series have shitty finishes, their necks feel terrible, compared to the upper line.
they are just trying to unload their crap.
I believe they mean unbalanced as in 1/4 inch or unbalanced XLR If you're using normal balanced XLR mic cables on the Shure mics, you will be fine to have the Phantom power on.
the monitors and your head should form an equallateral triangle, and the monitors should be turned to aim along those lines.(pointing at your head).
Yes, they should be at ear level.
I concede. It wasnt that it happened to me, I mis-read the manual, and they all say the same thing, dont use unbalanced MIC cables on the MIC inputs while phantom power is on. I looked on mackies site at their manuals, and they say the same thing. So anyway, Rock on dudes!
I am a happier human...
