Ok here's a more visual approach for you. This stuff can be really complicated man, I know. They mislead you into thinking that this was a plug and play to your pc type of aparatus. Man, this is all I can do to help you.

NO IT'S NOT. I uncompressed the drums and gave less attack and release to the bass, I lowered the vocals, added low end to the guits and raised them up, brought up the snare and kick, and eqed the intro. ;)

I remixed and mastered the song....somewhat. I didn't edit it...I didn't have time sorry.

ok i mixed it to where it only peaked ONCE and it was a suttle snare peak. Then I added the limiter.That limiter is awesome! It can push the mix so much and not peak at all. After like maybe 5 dB it starts to sound weird but thanks dude this plug in helped alot. :D

Ok so I've been pulling me hair out over this. Everytime I mix a song, I ignore the meter and let it peek so it can come out at a good volume. It does, the peek isn't noticeable. But I tried doing it the correct way. My guitars were at around -6dB and the loudest instrument was at around -1 or 0...

Well...this part of a whole album that we plan on SELLING. It has to have a somewhat decent sound.

I think I need to bring up all the drums, period. Yea its Frooty Loops. By touching up the treble you mean add low end like Andy said before?
