I'll give it a shot. This (http://www.mediafire.com/?qj4fn868atrbofw) is the unprocessed version of the track I had recorded earlier. I was able to find the original un-altered track so I threw it on media fire for you all to enjoy :p
I'll change the mic positioning and throw up another clip...
no. As I had mentioned in a previous post, I was using an instrument cables that had a bad connection in it somewhere so I wasn't getting any sound at all.
I bought a proper speaker cable, fired up my amp and plugged in my new guitar.
Alright, no filters....
These were the settings on my amp when I recorded it:
Bass - 5
Mids - 8
Treble - 5
Boost switch - Off
Resonance - 5
Presence -0
Texture - Turned fully clockwise to "class A/B"

It still sounds like a big steaming pile of sh*t. No matter what I do it always...
I could run a TS9 in front of the amp, drop the amps gain a bunch and use more of the overdrive from the TS9 for the tone...
First I wanna try this new guitar I got with EMG's in it, I wanna see how the amp reacts to these. My only fear is that EMG + TS9 + amp may be a little too much.
But I...
I just discovered the wonders of cab impulses! My v-amp and different modeling softwares have cab simulations but community created impulses open up a giant new world of possible amp/cab sims.
Has anyone here ever made one? Do any of you even use many impulses? If so, what do you recommend? Are...
