the proto-j's and ysm1i (passives) are both a little over 200$. i will be using some regular sharp receiver for them, and see how they sound first, and then look into buying a power amp if needed. any suggestions on with one to go with? any help is appreciated, thanks

well yea, i like the way the bass sounds...and the snare...theres no hope for that...i guess i jus made a mistake during tracking by putting it on the side of the snare. i think that the cymbals sound a lot better from how they were.
