While recording my last vocal it was getting distorted when I really pushed the vocal. I have an Alesis 3630(i know ..its cheap). I can't seem to get rid of it. The level on the recorder is below clipping. I don't know why the comp is doing this????help

Don't be so hard on yourself. I've been recording for the last 8 years and only the last 2 have I been able to get decent tracking/mixing. IT is HARD! It is definitely a learned trade. All the things you've said you've done (mistakes), I've done. It'll all come.

Turn down that keyboard! for my sake . louder drums, a more prominet bass. Good tune! WHen you doing vocals. It would sound great with vocals.

too much verb on the vocals and drums. The heavy guitars actually sound cool for a different effect, but when it goes into the chording the drums are over run. I would start with less guitar tracks, turn down the gain alittle... etc just like what others have said

wow! 14 and she has a voice that is already so sweet. Kudos!!Very impressive. Overall, the instrumentation, songwriting is excellent. You guys wrote a great song. One thing I didn't like was the eq on the main vocal. Very muddy. A few of the frequencies have to be changed. It's not clear enough...

Good song, good production. The way the song builds is great. The drums are a little too loud in the beginning. Great bass. good vocals. Maybe take the main vocal up a 3rd and and harminize the root( reverse) but only on the 2nd half of the song.

Not bad. You really need a compressor for the vocals. It goes too quiet and too loud in parts. I'd like to hear this with a full band version. A lot of possibilities

recording wise the mix is pretty good. Maybe needs more bass. Vocalist is terrible. Song wise, I heard it before but so what. Everything sounds the same to me anyways with modern music.

dude, I've tried the tripleXXX and I have never heard an amp with so much distirtion on hand. You won't need anything else and it has great tone. The clean is just that. you won't regret it. Pick up BBe sonic max on ebay for cheap and you'll have the biggest set of B***s ever.

lead vocals are too loud,and consistenly out of tune. Drums sound excellent;guitars sound good.
