I use the noise reduction process in Adobe Audition because reaper doesn`t have it. However it has a noise gate where you can just lower the threshhold and you can`t hear it but you can still see the fuzz in the wave pattern where noise reduction removes it. Which one should I use ? Does it...

I have Win7 quad core 64 bit computer and Reaper would only let me download the 32 bit version it seems to be working fine..will I have problems later? Whats the deal?

I thought 24 bit was the best for recording..I use Reaper..

I`m no pro but try first noise reduction process, then deesser then click pop remover. After that hit with EQ but leave enough headroom on the track cuz when you add effects it can start clipping if you record and the leds are hitting past -18db i record everything to about -12db after you like...

Frick!! thanks man.. just dont get it how do I unzip it... did what u said..got the files on to my desktop n then moved em to program files ..created a folder n tried to scan it...I suck at file movement man... I bet I ruined my XP this way:(

just uploaded some plugins from a CD..moved the ZIP files to my desktop now what? how do I get Reaper to find them?

I got a free few gigs of plugins from Computer music mag on a CD that says 99 free plugins. In the sleeve it lists all the goodies and it lists Trackers from Arkos, SunVox , Buzz and OpenMPT...anyone have these? Or the yellow sleeve with a CD of free plugs from that mag?

I have kind of a honky sounding voice on my lows kinda scratchy too..anyone know a nice combo of EQ and maybe a light echo effect in Reapers plugs that sounds good? Thanks:D

I have a boxed version of AA3..and I bought a new HP with Win7 I`m guessing its not compatible..what are the steps to take and do I have to pay extra$$? :)

I read an old post from 2008 about how Audition is still the superior program for editing. Most of the posts were from people who have switched to Reaper from AA but still use AA for editing... Is this still the case or has Reaper added this environment?:D

Well just curious cuz I`m ditchin AA3... at least 4 now n dont wanna spend time learning somthin i may ditch again...the workflow looks nice but damn..theres gotta be a difference it seems..i dont get it
