    Tukkis, is right small amounts of delay applied to each will give a big sound.be sure to use different amonts on each if applied to both. like 15 on one and 25 on the other.sorry this took so long but i can record better than i can type.just call me o"ll one finger.

    just use multiple mics .at least 1 distant mic (3 to 10 feet away you"ll have to decide what sounds best by trial and error. then use at least one up close mic and pan them hard left and right.

    one thing i forgot to mention .after you record you will want the guitars imaged either off center left or right. the guitars seem to fit in the final mix better if they are close to the lead vocal.if you leave them hard left and right they will sound unatural. besides that your cymbals go there.

    heres an andther method. try using 2 mics at once. sm57 about 3 inches away from speaker 30 degree off axis, then use a different mic preferably a condensor mic 3 to 5 feet away about 1foot above cab. eq each mic differently pan hard left and right.after you have recoded them run seperate delay...
