    2,000? hmmmmm..... well If u want to get as close to pro as possible 2000 would only be enough for a good amp head (no cab) or a good guitar.... i play mostly metal but love everything else and play everything too.... look at the high end ibanez rg models for guitars.... they run about 1200 but...

    keeping ur case is a good possibility... just make sure ur motherboard factor is the same as the previous (ATX or baby AT).... all the stuff ur planning to get will be MORE than enough to record two track at a time... and someone asked me this before about the hard drive.... what the difference...

    unfortunately probably not.... lets see what u need.... 1) A tracker... that can go from 100 - 10000.... and since u say u plan to use an external cd burner that means ur tracker is going to be digital and will cost at LEAST $600 (not to mention the cost of the burner itself) 2)...

    hey have u guys noticed that ALL the effects and junk on the MR-8 suck? i mean the mic simulation is terrible the guitar amp simulation couldn't be any worse, and the verbs and delays sound like u ran ur signal through a tin can... damnit... just commenting on that.... ~dn

    answers the answers to ur questions are here my friend.... 1) Yes its supposed to be that high. why u ask.... well im assuming each wav file (track) u have is about 22.7 mb... and these are all mono wav files.... so when u make a stereo wav file, its like slappin 2 wav files together... 2)...

    correction.... everything sounds good AFTER i normalize the tracks... why do i do that u ask? well its because the mr-8 has a lot of noise and when i record at low volume levels it cuts a lot of it out.... after that normalizing all the tracks makes the mix sound a lot tighter and bigger... it...
