    small 'computer speaker' monitors

Chess, You have experienced the full range speakers honesty, now think what would happen if you added a tweeter, it would fuck up the sound completely. You have just listened to a inherently better speaker (full range), no tweeter, no crossover, just honest sound, can you dig it!! Now you...

    Studioviols & Ghost Collaboration

Where did you guys dig up Dr. John for the lead vox. Who sang? Really enjoyed both song, and vocals. Recording sounds very good to my ears, no flaws. Great work!! GT

    Electric Violin, here me roar!!!!

WOW Hey DK So this is you playing with your Johnson!! Sounds like you've been practicing, when you could have been out playing ball. I would love to hear the debotchery caused by a octave pedal, too. Very cool, I go now listen again, me likey!! GT

    small 'computer speaker' monitors

Hey tf, Speaking of full-range speakers, and Edirol, all in the same breath. I heard these pups hooked to a Roland keyboard at Sam Ash, sounded damn good. I would have gotton these if I hadn't gotton the Samson system. I think these would make great computer speakers. Not really loud, but...

    small 'computer speaker' monitors

I don't want to open a can of worms again, but I firmly believe the most honest speaker is a one way speaker. No woofer, and especially no tweeter, no crossover, and subwoofer. Phisically speaking these drivers, and honest sound can not be used in the same sentence. The speakers I use in my...

    small 'computer speaker' monitors

Hey tf, I never said these were reference monitors, I just said they are good computer speakers. I totally agree, my reference speakers are in my studio, and I wouldn't think of EQ'ing them. I will say that these speakers once eq'ed with the built in eq, are pretty damn listenable. I am...

    small 'computer speaker' monitors

I try to use the eq to romove coloration only, seems to help. I think this is a pretty decent sound system, I wouldn't let the eq scare you. I would definately avoid the subwoofer route though, you will tire of its production of sound, instead of reproduction in no time! GT

Here's what I use for computer speakers. Not to shabby, and very flexible. I was lucky enough to get this used for $100.00!! http://www.zzounds.com/a--2676837/item--SAMDMS80 GT

The short life of a Danelectro Fish & Chips

I took it back to Sam Ash, and got my money back. I don't like doing this because they allways take so long to process the refund. It really wasn't a bad pedal, but ate the battery, and added more noise, we homerecors don't need any more noise. I think the tones I get will have to rely on...

The short life of a Danelectro Fish & Chips

Hello, and welcome newbie rvty, Yeah I bought the Danelectro as just a kind of new toy, I have a feeling your dead on about the Boss being better. While I'm at Sam Ash, I'll do a side by side comparison, If I can get the kids to stop playing White Stripe riffs long enough to have a listen...

The short life of a Danelectro Fish & Chips

This is embarassing, but I think the battery went dead. It didn't hit me that that was the problem, because I had used it for such a short period of time, before it started to mess up. If this thing eats batteries this fast, I'm not even going to bother to put another one in, 9 volts aren't...

The short life of a Danelectro Fish & Chips

Hey Carl, First I gotta say, man that tune you did is killer!! I had to special order the Fish and Chips, I think I may bite the bullet, and go with the Boss EQ, I think it's about $40.00 more, but it may be worth it. The Danelectro seemed noisey, even when it was working right. Maybe I...

Drum Machine Do You Use One? Why?

Kramer, When you say "KILLER", do you mean good or bad, and if you say bad, do you mean the good cool Micheal Jackson bad or Websters dictionary bad. That's assuming Websters hasn't hepped up the meaning of the word, bad. Anyway KILLER drum machines use cymbals as their most devistating...

    Lift with a different mix

Wow, What a great array of instruments, you've got it all. Recording sounds very nice, very nice solid low end going there. The lead vocal sounds to a small degree like it was recorded in a different space. But man what a voice!! Is that you Toki? I agree with the drum machine comment...

The short life of a Danelectro Fish & Chips

Used it for two hours, and it developed a permanent loud buzz, with a squeel thrown in for bad measure. This will be the first and last Danelectro product for me!! Back to Sam Ash, hope they haven't spent my money. GT

radio shack mics r the best

Hey Nilbog, Hey Nilbog backwards is, oh never mind. Have a little respect, use capital letters when you type radio shack. Little known fact that I just made up on the spot, lapel mics make the best kick drum mics. You just have to make sure that the person wearing it can fit inside a drum...
