    Tune out.

Had to listen through phones....... Another great mix, nice and quiet noise wise. Very cool playing, drums, tune, Kit and Kabuttal. The drums keep it especially interesting. Kind of reminds me of Deep Purple drum play, great work!! Fuzz bass allright!! Why not!! Great work!! GT

RE, Good morning!! Ok, your interest is peaked about full range speakers. Now all you have to do is go listen. I don't care where you are, Kmart, Target, Wallmart, JUST LISTEN. I have recomended a set at Sam Ash, or ZZounds, that may or may not be good. It's a start...

    Concentric Cone-Yay or Nay?

I don't have the specs, but with a full range the sound eminates from allmost the ideal single point source. Depending on the actual depth of the speaker cone. Where as a most two ways the tweeter is seperate, not allways optimally placed front to back, and above the woofer. Plus as ds21 so...

    Concentric Cone-Yay or Nay?

RE, Phase simply put, is sound eminating from different distances. Ideally, a single point would reproduce all the sound, keeping the sound eminating from the same distance. If you want to hear for yourself how real this is. Remove the tweeter from your speaker, leaving it plugged in, and...

Since speakers are the weakest link, I think it would be cool to hear what people honestly think about their speakers. It took me year to find speakers that I really like. Has anyone else arrived? Now I will now refrain. Rock on alfalfa!! GT

alfalfa, Are you talking about audible, or just measured amounts of distortion. Audibly, I heard much more apparent distortion, from all the two ways I've had, mostly tweeter related. My full range sounds much cleaner than any two way I have had. I think the measure of any speaker, is how...

    Concentric Cone-Yay or Nay?

Alfalfa, I would let it go, but you've made a incorrect statement. A two or three way speaker also suffers from intermodulation distortion, and inaccurate frequency response. They are not immune. The proof, no two speakers sound the same, hence inacurate frequency response. GT

Just when I think I'm out, you guys keep dragging me back in. Alfalfa, Doesn't it seem a bit strange, the lengths a two way system has to go to, to achive what a full range has naturally? Even at it's best, a two way will never achive, the phase coherancy of a good full range. So why even...

Can't believe I'm debating with one of the Little Rascals. What's next, arguing with Buckwheat about piezo electric chirp? Spanky in the mic forum, saying the C1 is better than a Neumman. Froggy sayin.........well, I don't know what he's saying. alfalfa, Great debate!!! GT

alfalfa, I think at this point, we are going to have to agree to disagree. One more log for the fire! Music is full range, and should be reproduced in the same manner. I know most don't agree with me on this subject, but I feel strongly enough about it, that I have to preach. I have an...

    Concentric Cone-Yay or Nay?

alfalfa, I have to disagree, the aforementioned speakers I use in my studio, sound to have much more accurate frequency response, and less distortion than any woofer tweeter setup, that I have used. These are the very reasons, they're in my studio. I'm glad you mentioned distortion, I believe...

    Electronic drums sets

Eric, Checked out you and Bob, man that rocks. The drums sound totaly real to me. Where did you get those samples? How do you hook the samples to your pads? I know nothing. Also, you are one hell of a drummer, beautifull!! I been looking at the roland V-Club, with the TD-6 module, what...

    Concentric Cone-Yay or Nay?

Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, or maybe I do. From my experience with lots of speakers, over lots of time, this is what I've come to believe. Hey, I know I'm going out on a limb, but sometimes you have to. If I recomended a speaker with a woofer, and a tweeter, then I would be...
