Ok, so I guess I'm the only one finding this strange:
I mean: did he make profit? Well either way...do you sell your mom?
I've gotta get me one of those!!!!:p
Steve makes a good comment...do you really need a gate, and if so, for noise cancellation or drumkit adjustments? If it's the first one I would spend my money improving the recording traject. If it's the second one I would recommend a course of tuning drums for that amount!
If you wanna sell the gear to one of the other bandmembers:
post a fictiv auction on ebay under a different name with the stuff in it, and ask for a real high bid. Now make up several fake persons bidding lots and lots more than asked. Show this auction to that bandmember.

I bought the md1 without listening, and only because I knew the early groovetube models were good according to people. And I must say that I'm very pleased with the mic. Within a month I found a second and bought...
While reading the other thread about the listing of all cheaper tubemics I thought of the following question. (btw, that thread ain't nowhere near a tubemic thread anymore...)

Re: Thanks
Ok, here we go......
I own a commercial recording studio, and the business is expanding well. Next to that, about two years ago we bought all the equipment of a theatre productions and have been running that from the technical side for the past years, and many years to come. And...
