Cheers, Nola. The bass could do with a retrack. It was the first thing I recorded after the drums, in fact it was the first thing I'd recorded in four months, so it wasn't properly locked in. The bass does actually have an amp sim on it, but I've used quite a dull-sounding eq treatment on it...

In reaper you place the pointer at the beginning of the wav, press alt-click and a little grabbing hand should appear. Use the mouse to stretch the wav to where you want it.

The first "tone thread" didn't take off. The progenitor of this leviathan was Sky Blu Lou's "Tone to Die For"thread in the Cave. It had a great run in there but was lost when the Cave was deleted. The management saw fit not to preserve it. This thread? You tell me.
