Go for the bluebird, It is sweet on vocals. And you dont really need to worry about room treatment when you are dealing with mics that have a cardiod polar pattern.

Nothing wrong with a little bleed, I find total isolation unnatural. Ever notice how natural some pro tracks sound? Ask them about isolation they might laugh at you.

you should definatly have a refernce mix like I guess the song itself, in this situation... And you should get to know your monitors. KNow how they sound all around when you listen to stuff on them. That way when you mix you will get something decent :)

if you click the waveform. 5 nodes should appear on it. four corners and the top middle. the bottom two nodes extend or cut down the track size(not stretch or shrink it). The top two corners control fade ins and outs. The top middle one raises the gain of the track.
