well, your guitar should be plugged into an input, not an output which is what you say you're doing.
..... plugging it into an output will get you nothing.
And, in general, mics don't work well plugged into guitar input.
Just taking a quick glance at the RC50 manual I can't imagine why you...
lol .... you're a rhythm playing force of nature!
ummmm ..... I wouldn't call it harsh myself ..... need a bit more 2k to get harsh to my ears.
I would call it aggressive ...... it's "in your fucking face" aggressive ....... more aggressive than I would likely ever do ..... you gotta have...
I've bought quite a bit of stuff from them and I do this for a living so I'm not gonna keep buying stuff that sucks.
Sure .... the p'ups aren't Lollars .... but they're quite nice .... Bang for the buck, I just don't see anyone coming close.
actually there's another way to clean it up even more.
Just take a clean boost of some kind and set the volume where it's less than the input ..... that'll hit the front end less which is the same thing as less gain.
I like them too but I could never play a Jaguar .... that 24" scale sounds horrible .... I actually don't even like Gibsons' 24 3/4" scale ... too short.
maybe because I was also a bass player?
it's just such a great ax.
He doesn't even build anymore as far as I can see. His site has disappeared and he was talking about being years behind because his new high paying job and kid took all his time.
I really kinda do want a Hallmark ...... or maybe that Danelectro .... or that Firebird...
well, my main guitar is as custom as it gets .... every single detail completely custom to my specs. And I like it ..... but it's not enough!
I want more stuff!!
:D
I'm also liking that Danelectro '64 ..... that has the vibe too.
An-n-n-n-nd, I could get a Firebird for 1100 bucks!
My 65th birthday coming up ..... maybe I deserve something special ..... ;)
