>>>>>>>>>>>This represents a barrier between the compensatory colors which proceed it and the remaining colors.
This has to do with the fact that the Luscher test, being as comprehensive as it is, takes into account not only the order in which you choose the colors individually, but it...
Yah Roel, judging from your recent cave threads I would say that those descriptions depict your situation pretty accurately....The amazing thing about the Luscher Color test is that it indicates that the colors you chose at a specific time will almost always apply directly to specific things...
To anyone who is interested: you can take a very abbreviated online version of the test here.... http://www.colorquiz.com/ this test takes about 5 minutes whereas the full test and analysis could literally take hours....The shortened version won't be as accurate but It will probably make some sense.
Hah..ha........NICE Texroadkill!!!!!!!.......I just realized that you had brought up the Luscher color test........BTW, you did spelt it right I think...I believe that I spelt it wrong above.....Anyhow, since I'm a fine artist or at least I was educated to be one :D, I take that test quite...
Esactun is totally right about the color theory.........Nice post esact........especially the pink thing, which is very interesting and also very true....However, pink I believe is an odd exception to the general rule and no one really knows why....that's what makes that odd fact so interesting...
The primary reason to get a pre-amp is to give yourself an adequate recording signal/level. If you're recording on a PC and have only a basic soundcard with a "line level" input you are going to need a preamp....
Some other folks like certain pre-amps because they "color" the sound. I know...
I actually sort of feel what chazba is saying......I've often got the same feeling that songs are just floating around waiting to be picked out of the air. Maybe it's collective unconsciousness thing?....I dunno....
Then again maybe the whole picking of the song out air thing isn't that...
I know what you mean about the space between the instruments and I think you have found some good advice on the subject thanks to everyone here.....
The one thing I wanted to say is that, for future reference, I think that the word "transparency" is the wrong word for this.......Language is...
ha....ha.....weren't you the one posting a thread a month or so back about "whether to change the band name or not?" -------- I guess you didn't change it huh? Well, looks like it was changed for you *lol* ..........Hey maybe it's a "sign".......If it were me I just keep the new name...
What up mcfly dude.......your shoes untied :D
Seriously though, I think you did a damn good job with this.....
Problems definately in the drum category if anything.....I don't play drums so I wouldn't really know what is wrong but that's the biggest prob....BTW, it's a recording issue...not...
Very cool Doc..........I could feel the toxic alien sludge bubbling beneath my canoe....was I on a canoe? I think I was ....:D
If there is anything in the world that I could compare it to...I would say that your songs remotely resemble the "space" jams that the Grateful dead used to play at...
Webcyan....there is nothing indian or egyptian about those notes......your just playing in a minor key man....If you want to do something different try playing in a different mode or how bout this (brace yourself, cuz I know how you feel about this) Play in a major key for once........yep try a...
hey biff.....Looney tunez gave you good advice...
Couple things you could try in addition to that:
Ideally three mics would work well.....But you should try all of the following even with just 2 mics.
For the close mic technique for the in your face ballsy sound....Couple of different...
Very interesting question
First off......I re-read what I write all the time and sometimes I think it may come off as pompus and pretentious with all the bullshit about being an "artist." However, That is not my intention.......And I don't always apply this shit that I'm talking about to my...
FT......move over...Webcyan....is officially the most entertaining charactor(for the wrong reasons) at this damn site :D.......Whoever said that there is no such thing as "bad publicity" was definately wrong.. :D
WEB .....Keep posting this nonsense , it makes the work day go by much faster :D
What webcyan was trying to say is about the tension that is created between the leading tone and the tonic of any scale......Obviously web plays everything in minor keys or penatonic scales, since the examples he gave you were whole steps between the leading tone and tonic........
Anyway...
