Why is it not working for me, they suspended my two old accounts and I registered a new one under a totally different email and it was suspended from the second I started it! I never broke any rules (at least I don't think so)...has anyone else had these issues? Where can I host these?

Well obviously the cheap stuff might break easier and it lacks that certain something but depending on your situation it might get you close enough. If you can afford it though, there's no reason not to buy the real thing, that's WHY it's the real thing!

Hey I'm fairly new to recording and I was thinking of buying two Oktava MK012s but they would be unmatched...Will that be a real problem? I'm using Behringer mixer pres so it's not exactly top of the line at any point in the chain, will unmatched pairs make a difference?

If I wanted to get a laptop and record with a MOTU 896 and a firewire harddrive, would I need two firewire ports? Can this be done on a Dell Laptop or do I need to get one of the more expensive Powerbooks? Any help would be much appreciated!
