    let me see your studio!

    It will. I only finished the garden last month so it really is in it's infancy at the minute. Loving watching life grow in it though. :thumbs up:

    let me see your studio!

    No, it's to the left of the desk. The bookshelf is on the wall behind me. :thumbs up: I would but I won't :thumbs up:

    Big thump at the beginning of tracks with Reaper?

    I get this from time to time and its usually a reverb or some other plugin that does it. Can also have it happen when stopping a track. As it doesn't render to file, I just ignore it. Doesn't bother me now as I'm used to it. :thumbs up:

    Condenser Mic Distortion, no clipping?

    I'm not hearing distortion either. I am hearing fret buzz on the picking though which, when strumming, could sound like distortion when close mic'ing. My money is on the guitar. Try not pushing down too hard on the string and pick/strum softer when you record. See if there is a difference...

    Latency Issues with new Focusrite 2i2

    First thing to do is make sure you're using ASIO Drivers in Abelton and that the Focusrite is set as the input/output. Make sure your interface is plugged into to a USB slot on the the computer and not a Hub and try a different USB slot if possible.

    What's your "to go" eq?

    It is for me, I only usually use the top 2 sliders and sometimes the bottom 2. :thumbs up: That is just insane! I wouldn't have a clue where to start.

    What's your "to go" eq?

    Just looking at that confuses me. Way too many buttons and knobs. :laughings:

    What's your "to go" eq?

    I try to use as little EQ as possible unless I'm after a specific sound but when I do, I use the Sonitus EQ that I got with Sonar 5 way back when. (Around 2003 I think) I like the Sonitus Plugins. Simple but effective. The only remnant of Sonar that I still use.

    How do you get this "effect"

    This is that sound on my keyboard that I thought sounded like it. (Techno Bass) With a Flanger on that and a Lo to Hi sweep across it may make it sound spot on. Obviously not so bassy but you'll hear what I mean. If it's of any use, I can sample the notes you need and send them over. :thumbs up:

    How do you get this "effect"

    I don't know how you'd actually make a sound like that from scratch but my Yamaha PSR52 keyboard has a voice that sounds similar to that. Maybe a heavy Flanger setting would do it if you messed with the settings?

    I don't work for Waves...

    I gave up on fancy plugins long ago. The simpler the better for me.

    Changing time signaures

    ^^^~Which is why I prefer the Shift+C for Time Measure Changes and just hitting M for Markers. Guaranteed to be in the correct place. Right Clicking the grid at the top, doesn't put the Marker or Time Change where the cue is on the grid. It puts it where you right click on the timeline. So if...

    Changing time signaures

    As ashcat_it says above, both ways will work. I prefer the Right Click method personally or at the position on the time line you want to change the time, press Shift + C. Once you've edited the time for the part you need the change, repeat and put in the original timing where you want the...

    Any tips on keeping large numbers of vocal tracks singing chorus bits under control

    I'd definitely go with using group bus's. Send them as smaller groups first, like say 5 per bus, EQ, Comp and Automate there on each bus and then send all of them to a single bus. If you can get a good mix of the Vocal groups solo'd, then you can tweak it on the single bus as needed for the mix...
