I agree with the hi hat. It sound compressed. The kick can come up. The cymbal in the right ear sounds a bit funky too. Cool guitar sound. The bass can use a bit more compression. Other than that, I think it sounds pretty good.

Hey guys, I just got a TASCAM US-800 interface. The outputs are RCA. My monitors, M-Audio BX5a's, have TRS and XLR inputs. I know I need an RCA to TRS/XLR. My question is, does it need to be labeled "Speaker cable"? Thanks!

Alright, well I got it. Now, I have to say I haven't messed with it a whole lot, but here's what happened. Note: I'm using this on a Dell Inspiron (545s desktop) Windows 7 I opened it and got the drivers set up and working. It worked for a while. I was getting little error messages here...

Hmmm... not too bad. There is definitely too much compression on the whole mix. It's pumping. The snare needs more crack. Bring the top mic up more. I also don't recommend reverb on the bass. Few tweaks, it should sound pretty dern good.

Sounds really cool! It kind of reminds me of a Peter Gabriel song with a guitar solo. I really dig the drum sound. It's got that sweet pop compression. Awesome tone. Great job!

Hmmm, doesn't sound bad. I don't like the hard panning of the shaker and the tambourine. Bring those in to about 40% panned. That way you get some separation. When you pan them hard, it distracts people away from the actual song. The acoustic can come up a bit. The vocals sound good for...
