    Tips on arranging songs

2 gems at least, I feel.... #1. Add em 2 at a time. Old Linda Ronstadt did this beautifully. Tamb AND piano at the same time.. Shakers AND Heavy electric lead. You get the idea. P.s. Dan Dougmore/Waddy Wachtel/Whoever played the rest of the leads must had a blast! I wonder who played the up...

    breathy, dreamy vocals

Well, YOU ARE ALL WRONG!! 2 mic's... Mic #1, up close and personal, compressed to hell! I'm talking from 6 or 10:1 fast/slow! Mic #2, room mic, 4 to 8 feet away and more standard (mild) if any compression. My booth is only 6' deep and my mic's were 2 inches (Mic#1) and 3 feet(Mic#2) and...

20/20's I have the 20/20p's. For like...1.5 or 2 years. I love them FOR THE MONEY, but we really didn't kick down now, did we? Try playing cd's you are very familiar with and dialing in the bass and high trim on back of the powered cab. Whn I am too close, I can hear the full bass. I think the...

Is Layla lonely without a mixer?

Layla vs. the world. I Love my Layla! You will too! I Know guys who have no hardware mixer. They go direct out from #'s 9 and 10 into thier powered monitors (or amp then mon's). The reason I like the monitor is sometimes in a crash, i get a ton of loud noise, which can deafen in the phones or...

    lexicon core 2 trouble

My core2 runs great on my PII 450 192k, scsi but My cousin gets tons of pops and clicks on his slower 128k ide system. I like the card and the mp100 is outrageous for the money! It really helps at mixdown to have realtime effects without slowing the processor down.
