Why do you turn up the gain on the mic instead of the level of the headphones?
3 o'clock or 75% on the mic gain is really hot for a condenser mic.

Most importantly....DO NOT GIVE UP! It will come with practice and like mentioned above it is a different skill than singing live.
Warm up your voice, sing a few times without headphones and the tracks coming through the speakers before you start recording...

If I had a nit to pick, and I am really searching here, I would say the rhythm guitar is a bit dry for me. Doesn't mesh as well as it could with the drums and vocal which really have space to them.
