Use that mic with this guitar and you can't loose:
SEAGULL GUITAR SIGNED BY JEFF HEALY 2006 - Mississauga / Peel Region Musical Instruments For Sale - Kijiji Mississauga / Peel Region Canada.
Think I could get an extended warranty, that would really sweeten the deal!
It is a compressor or expander and can be used for monitoring or final mix. I wouldn't use it for monitoring, but for final mix, it could be very useful.
When you play back, make sure the "R" button is checked. The "R" is for read, and the "W" is for wright. Read and wright midi that is. Whithout the "R" button checked, Sonar will ignore the midi you recorded.
Actually, I have a pair of Alesis AM2 mic's for recording acoustic. Thay sound great and the clip lets me XY these things on one stand.
AM2 Stereo Microphone Set Got detail?
You probably are recording to the wrong input. If you get one side on stereo, swith the input from left to right or visa versa. Or, you can record one sided stereo, and them switch that to mono. To get true stereo, you need an adapter that goes from the headphone jack into 2 inputs to your...
I started with Sonar 6 and am now on 8.5. X1 was a fairly major rework but most of the features are cosmetic. Kind of like going from office2003 to office2007. The biggest possible drawback using Sonar 7 is that it is from the XP days. There is no support for win7 if you are using that. If you...
To get the actual sound of your keyboard you need to use audio, not midi. If there is no audio out, the headphone jack will work, just watch the level into your interface because this signal is stronger than most line signals. Start with your headphone volume all the way down and slowly increase...
The guts of any X1 version are the same. The difference between the versions is what is included (FX, VST's etc.). Also Essential has a 64 audio track limit, Studio and Producer are unlimited. Here is a good chart comparing them:

Your interface is your soundcard. Took me a while to understand this when I first started. Your soundcard should be completely disabled. Latency from software is just a matter of your buffer setting. Lower the buffer, less latency, but at some point, your computer will puke when the buffer is...
Never did understand the loyalty to PT. When I started recording a few years ago, I was shocked that you had to have "special hardware" to use PT. That turned me off and I went with Cakewalk as well. I know the new version allows any hardware, but too little too late. And this ACD bullshit...
Some quick answers. No to a USB mic. You can only use 1 audio device at a time, so you only want 1 usb device into your computer. I suggest this is an interface. Some mixers will allow multi-channel, but most only feed one stereo pair to your computer (mains out) so you can't actually multi...
