THIS Would be my vote if she likes a 5 string (since she plays rock or else get the same in a 4 string). Sounds and plays great, and not very heavy for a bass. Another way to go could be the Warwick pro bass line as they are around that price range. They are light and sound pretty good.

Thats an easy one, about one hour per track. For the first 57 minutes I eq, compress, limit, de ess, delay, reverb and double the track to near death. Then, at the 58th minute, I hit the FX bypass button and realize how great it sounds with nothing. Then at the 59h minute I add back a light...

Well from what we've seen it looks to be about double what others can get it for. But.. its also a supply and demand thing so if you feel like you can afford it and that its worth it, then go for it.

Not unless there is a kraft facing, and then its the kraft paper doin' all the work. :eek::D

Just so you know, what he's saying is true to a degree. Regular insulation does work for sound to attenuate sound. *On top* of drywall it doesn't do much at all, but *Inside* walls, it works as well as O.C or mineral wool making it a more cost effective way to isolate sound.

Well before it was just a bassline. Now, it'll be one bassline and six guitar tracks. That many stacking up with sound like ass in MP3 so I'll need to send the WAVs. Each WAV is around 40mb's each and thats more than any email server will allow. Most have a max of 10mb. I'll have to make sure...

Some of the busy screaming parts sound like they are clipping. Guitars are mush The ride/crash hits have no sheen THe track needs some serious eq IMO to be able to hear things.

Yes, to me it sounds out of tune, and.. uh.. not in place. Almost like you had a pretty cool tune, thought it was complete, then had a few shots of booze and thought to add just one more track.:D

Excellent tune, and recording! I like how the different elements sound together. Yes the snare is a little clunky, but I like it. Its different than the normally cracky sound you get with metal. The lead tramples on the vox here and there, that would be my only gripe.

I would of done some leads but I assumed that people were lined up for that. :confused: I figured the keys were harder to find. Well, I'm was going to do Zeds song today, I guess I can lay down something for this song to so it doesn't die. :)
