some of the better recievers even have a direct in for the amp... if so use IT... will look like a little u shape of metal... jumpered between the amp in and the preamp out...
at it's most basic idea... first realize that any piece has some noise deep in the signal refered to as the noise floor... also there's a oint at which it starts to clip which is determined largely by the power rails of the device... so what we need to do is keep the signal in the center of...

well adat's were early digital tape machines... used basicly a vid transport... they started the use of an optical connector for transfer of 8 channels of sound at a time... that's what you're asking about... the optical ins/outs... now it's used primarily to exand systems...

the sound banks on those were on a rom card that needs to be reloaded... are you the original owner?? didya keep those cards??? you might be able to find some online at a korg users group... other wise ya just screwed the pooch...
interesting thought... but i doubt that capacitence would be an issue here... as it's on an output it doesnt really feedback to the amp unles the amp is basicly un-dampted (not likely) remember passive Xovers use caps all the time...
never used that one but i've gotta 8x4 mixer of thiers around here that used for decades as a keyboard mixer and worked well until i let my nephew use it... it's still resurectable...
while sellinghifi years ago we carried a box by Niles that was designed for multi room systems that really wasn't bad... most of those things are junk and can in somecases harm amps... try the high end stereo shops...
walt on the one hand i dont think i've ever really dug your stuff... but man i gotta give you props for cranking it out... and if you can do this live so much the better...
that it's small amps makes it all the more important that they be of a reasonable gauge... why lose what little you got by driving a bad wire??? nit picking sure... but ringing out every bit we can is what cheap recording is about...
