Believe what? That someone who has a natural talent for music won't be any good if they don't practice? Or that someone who doesn't have a natural knack for music can be a good musician if they study and practice hard enough?
I'm pretty sure it will work. It is rigid fiberglass. You'll have to peel the paper backing off of it though. Otherwise the backing will reflect the majority of the sound you are trying to absorb.
I did think of that. The pedal doesn't have a midi in so I can't sync it up with reaper. I could record it, match it up and loop it or just pump it through the headphones and not worry about measures lining up in reaper. There are definitely ways to work around it but it's so freaking simple to...
Event 20/20s. Paid $50 for the pair because one of them had a busted tweeter. Bought a replacement for about $40.
My power amp is a Behringer A500. I know people bad-mouth Behringer but this thing is awesome. Biggest improvement in my monitoring chain besides my room treatment.
I love it...
Gotta vent here. So I'm helping the band my brother is in do some recording. They just recently found a drummer so they are still getting him up to speed.
The plan is to record all the parts except drums to a click track so we can give the drummer something to practice to and at the same time...
Just because you will never be as good as Tiger is no reason not to practice your swing. I agree that talent + practice = awesome. I would also say that practice - talent > talent - practice.
I'm inclined to agree with you statement about some people just having no sense of timing after...
That's fucking ridiculous. Anybody can improve anything if they work hard enough at it.
They may not posses the physical and mental capabilities to excel at it but they most certainly can get better.
iMac is apple's low end machine. XPS is Dell's high end machine not really a fair comparison. You could easily get another dell model such as a vostro or inspiron that would match or beat those specs under 1k.
I do tech support for a living and I often repair PCs on the side for extra money. I...
That is a good price and it could be useful on the ceiling or large flat open spaces where high frequency reflections are a problem. I have rigid fiberglass bass traps and broadband absorbers already I'm gonna pick some up to do some spot treating around the room to reduce some ringing.
I switched from Sonar to reaper. It was Sonar 2 though.
Actually I just downloaded reaper to give it a shot and I never used Sonar again.
Learning curve isn't that bad at all. I had a little trouble figuring out how to use softsynths and midi stuff but once I got it it was easy.
