    How many tracks do you use to record drums?

    wouldnt be only using 4 be a few mics short? Shouldnt you mic up all the drums including the toms to capture them all?

    Well thank bajesus im good at taking criticism, and ive tried to do what i can, the drums are MIDI so i couldnt do much with them :/ i dropped the low end on the guitars and thought it sounded funny but i was following suggestion

    Sorry didnt mean to post in the wrong spot, i thought this was it, but i have decided to drop the bass entirely, ive also dropped some of the low end on the guitars, brought up the drums volume, and the guitars high pass is slightly higher, i guess ill post the revised edition in the proper...

    Unfortunetly yes it does,but i believe the question can ultimately be drawn down to a relative view of what you consider music.

    Ive just recently purchased a Tascam US-1800 audio interface which has 8 XLR inputs on the front for mics. There are 2 buttons for Phantom power the first provides it to inputs 1-4 the second 5-8. i want to start recording drums as soon as this weekend im going out and purchasing a CAD Pro 7...
