Ive been told to record all my tracks with the volume level at -10.0 Db. So thats what i do. Welp i forgot to do it and i was wondering does it matter if i just turn the things down to that point now or is it crucial that it be recorded that way? Dumb question but ya never really know.:guitar:

DM50 i use these headphones everyday in my phone, and they work perfectly fine. And its the original Sound card that came with my laptop. When i plug in my audio interface and go hrough there for volume and such all audio is fine.

Ive done nothing to the instrumentals, thats one separate track already mixed down. and i did all that reverb cause if you listen to the song he also uses a lot of reverb

Im gonna be recording for a post hardcore/ metal band and vocals have never really been my forte so to speak. any suggestions on how to get a good clean tone and recording? Im using an Audio Technica AT2020 large diaphragm condenser mic.

Those are 100% real drums. All of it was thought out ahead of time. And i noticed the mistakes with the guitar after i posted this and its all been fixed.
