You need vocal couching. You'll mess up your chords if you continue singing without professional help.
*Not that you're not good, you just need practice and professional advices.
so what, does eveyone use autotube these days?
Should I use autotune? Will it make my recording sound more professional? I definetly don't want to sound like Akon...
there are many examples..
hmm let's say here:
Rihanna - Unfaithful - YouTube
i can hear that Rihanna's voice is sort of electronic or something like that..
The way I see it, this is a very common thing, and i hear it in almost every song I listen to...
Ok, so I'm trying to record a song right now and have a few questions...
I can notice some sort of an edit in many vocals that I hear. Whether it's Akon (the more obious) or Rihanna, or even Adam Goniter (Three Days Grace)..
Now, I've been told that these are "synths" that clean / do something...
I have noticed that there is a very common way of editing vocals, especially in hip hip.
I mostly hear it in choruses, like "Elevator" by Eminem. (I heard Tech N9ne use it many times too)
There's this sourd of a higher and lower sound at the same time, and a bassline or w/e I can't understand...
I'll try and post it, but I just got some news on the subject O.o
I found out that I can hear this sound when the AudioBox is closer to my speakers/ router / internet provider modem (they are all close to each other)
Could something like this cause the problem? ( it almost disappears when I...
I know I've been buggin you guys lately with a whole lotta topics, but who else's gonna help me huh?
I have seen people recording vocals and getting a mono track..
I always thought that stereo = better quality and I'm confused a little...
Should I record vocals on a mono channel or a stereo...
I'm not using a wireless device... and I hear that sound ALL the time, whether the mic is plugged in or not...
Also, I'm starting to think it would be way easier if it were my neck O.o
I'll try, but it just sounds like a bounch of crickets rocking out in my freaking ears...
I am hopeless...
I bought it a LONG time ago... the noise was pretty quiet first so i thought maybe I did something wrong, but it got worse and worse... and now it's really messing with me... and I checked again, it isnt only in the "Phones" output, but also in the "Left" and "Right" ones too..
Isn't this like...
Ok, what I meant was When I plug the Headphones into "Phones" I Hear a LOUD CREAKING sound, and when I plug the headphones into "Left" OR into "Right" the creeking sound disappears. (BUT this way I have to choose between hearing only the left or only the right side)
How do I get rid of this...
thanks! but now if I want to use one set of Reverb / compressor settings for verse and other settings for the chorus do I have to set verse to one channel and chorus to another?
Thanks guys, I will try that but I have another question too:
After I record something in FL studio, Thru let's say channel 2, and I hit play, it plays through the master channel.
Then how am I supposed to add compression to it? If I add compression in the Master channel, it applies to the...
